Seeds of Hope

Seeds of Hope
Ever look up to the sky while you’re in the middle of the forest? It’s one of my favorite things to do on a hike because it changes my perspective. I can be in a horrible state of mind but as soon as I look to the tops of the trees and watch the birds go about their day and the light shining through the branches I begin to remember that I am only one moving piece in this big beautiful world. I am reminded that when many small moving parts come together, great things can happen and the impact of such creates an ecosystem of our own making.
This framed original watercolor & ink painting is mounted on archival museum mounting board using archival water activated linen hinging tape. 1/8” spacers are placed between the glass and the art protecting it from direct contact with the glass and allowing for the full deckled edge of the paper to show. This highlights the beauty of the handmade watercolor paper.
The back is titled, signed and dated. It also displays a quote that pairs with the painting:
“Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.” -Desmond Tutu
