True Belonging

True Belonging
The idea of belonging has always been something I’ve struggled with-constantly searching for that feeling in groups of friends or in large gatherings. The one place I feel this completely quiet is when I’m outside surrounded by trees. In the Autumn woods everything just makes sense and there’s no question that in this moment with the earth beneath my feet and the chill against my face, I truly belong.
This framed original watercolor & ink painting is mounted on archival museum mounting board using archival water activated linen hinging tape. 1/8” spacers are placed between the glass and the art protecting it from direct contact with the glass and allowing for the full deckled edge of the paper to show. This highlights the beauty of the handmade watercolor paper.
The front of the mat board along with the back of the painting is titled, signed and dated.
