Listening

Listening
Amidst the wildness of the Autumn woods I find myself intently listening for whatever might find me. My own thoughts surround me and it’s sometimes hard to tell the difference between the rustling of the leaves and whispers of my own thoughts. In moments of deep contemplation, the woods is always the best place to find oneself. Should that wood be in the peak of Autumn color, all the better.
This framed original watercolor & ink painting is mounted on archival museum mounting board using archival water activated linen hinging tape. 1/8” spacers are placed between the glass and the art protecting it from direct contact with the glass and allowing for the full deckled edge of the paper to show. This highlights the beauty of the handmade watercolor paper.
The front of the mat board along with the back of the painting is titled, signed and dated.
