Day 8 of a daily painting journey.

The snow from the most recent storm we had is almost all but gone on the trees around me but the frozen chill remains and I revel in the quiet of winter. Some people hate the cold and long for the growth of spring but I know that this time of stillness means rejuvenation. It means storing up for the bounty that is to come and committing to the promise of possibility.
