Day 57 of a Daily Painting Journey

Using masking fluid reminds me of when I was a small child coloring in a coloring book. I was never great at coloring inside the lines and I almost always felt the need to add something to the picture to put my own pizazz into it. Adding the splashes of pink to these florals brings the same spark of joy as picking up the prettiest color out of the crayon box and being able to create some beautiful childhood masterpiece.

Original work is mounted onto acid free backing board using archival gummed linen tape and framed in a 5x7 Gallery Frame (1-1/4” Deep)
