Day 52 of a Daily Painting Journey

When an experiment fails, you try again. This painting came a day after what was, in my opinion, my worst painting in a long time. It was overworked and completely went off the rails to where I wanted it to be. Those failed experiments are the best thing that can happen because it tells us what doesn’t work and when we come back to it the next day I find that more times than not, you create something you absolutely love.
