Misquamicut Memories

Misquamicut Memories
There are some days that cement themselves into our memories forever and when we think about them there’s a full body warmth that encompasses us. In the heat of the pandemic in 2020 we had to get creative to see the people we loved and often times that involved finding an outdoor activity with a sparse amount of people. As an introvert, this was pretty much my perfect way to spend any day and it was on one such occasion that we found ourselves at Misquamicut beach just to enjoy a sunset together. It’s the simple things that make you marvel at the beauty of this life. Simple things like standing on a beach with your best friends while a pastel sky surrounds you and the ocean softly whooshes in the distance. I can still feel the slight chill in the air as the sun began to fade into the night sky and I will always remember how grateful I was to spend that precious time with the people I loved.
