Deep Reflection

Deep Reflection
There are two places I find Deep Reflection: Hiking and Painting. While they are both solitary activities for me I have never felt less alone than when I am with my thoughts in the studio or in nature. I feel completely enveloped in the flow of the natural world both as it surrounds me and as it comes out of my pen and brush. This is the place I ruminate on any and everything and I always come out the other side feeling clean and free like I’ve washed my thoughts completely clean.
This framed original watercolor & ink painting is mounted on archival museum mounting board using archival water activated linen hinging tape. 1/8” spacers are placed between the glass and the art protecting it from direct contact with the glass and allowing for the full deckled edge of the paper to show.
